FIVE REASONS WHY READING ROMANCE IS ACTUALLY GOOD FOR YOU.
Have you ever wondered if your favorite pastime is actually benefiting you positively?

Well, it's true...reading romance novels is actually beneficial to your health. Science has shown that reading has some amazing health benefits and I'm here to tell you why reading romance is actually GOOD for you.
LOOKING FOR A ROMANCE BOOK TO READ, TRY CHECKING OUT LOGAN CHANCE'S LIBRARY AVAILABLE ON AMAZON.
Reading has always been one of my favorite hobbies. Even as a kid I would love to read comics, and any book that lead me to another world. I remember at night, when I was really young, begging my mother to read me one more story before bed. It was my mother that cultivated my love for reading. After working through all the little 'kiddie' books she had around the house, she looked at me and said, let's read something different. NO....it was not a romance novel. (get your mind out of the gutter)
It was, however, an actual novel. Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain. And we devoured it. Then, I wanted more and more. I remember thinking this is so much better than the little kid books sitting around my room. My mother started taking me to the library, and from there it grew and grew.
So here are the ten reasons why reading romance is actually GOOD for you.
1. RELIEVES STRESS
Yes, reading romance actually helps relieve stress. How many of you, after a long day at work, reach for your favorite romance novel and sink into the world of love? It's ok to fall in love with the idea of love. They say laughter is the best medicine, so pick up a romantic comedy and get to laughing out loud. Also, the euphoric feeling of reading romance helps lowers blood pressure, and helps calm the heart. Kicking your heels up, and sitting back, with a good romance novel is a major stress reliever.
2. GOOD FOR THE BRAIN
Not only does reading make you smarter, but it actually increases brain power. It improves memory function and reading romance is like a workout for the brain. Visualizing characters, settings, and situations is also good for the brain. It can also help improve our vocabulary. So...put on your thinking cap and get to reading.
3. IMPROVES INTIMACY
Yes, reading romance improves intimacy and sex between couples. If you start reading romance novels regularly it helps bring out the romantic in you. It also helps show you how a woman deserves to be treated, and leads to better communication in the bedroom. It also helps in the ideas department. Sure, sometimes things can get stale in the bedroom, pick up an erotic novel and try new things. Or, don't. Either way, reading romance helps you to become more comfortable with your body and sex.

4. LOWER RISK OF HEART ATTACK AND DISEASE.
Yes, you can lower your risk of these global killers just by picking up a romance novel. How many times has your heart rate kicked up during your favorite steamy scene? Or maybe during an angsty scene? Will they get together? Won't they? This uptick increase is good to get your circulation going and helps lower stress.
It's even better if those scenes lead to some, ...you know...extra physical activity.
5. THE HEROINES INSPIRE
Yes, many times in reading romance the heroines can inspire us to look inward on how we react to certain situations. Learn from their mistakes. Adopt their way of thinking. Yes, sometimes the heroines can inspire you to follow your dreams.
So next time you're looking for a good book to read, try grabbing a romance book instead and get your read on.
